SED 03 05 Safety Defects
The safety inspections are completed weekly, with 2 inspectors. Once a defect is identified there are two National Highways processes for Defect Rectification.
The primary process is SED 03 01 - Defect Repair Procedure . If it is a safety defect it will first go through this process SED 03 05 - Safety defects which details the 24hr make safe process. The processes enable the Service Delivery Managers to vary the permanent repair time from that initially categorised by an Inspector to allow for issues such as.
