I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding vehicle breakdowns on the strategic road network during the Christmas period. Specifically, I would like to request the following data:
1. The total number of vehicle breakdowns recorded on National Highways-managed roads during the following periods for the last [three to five] years:
* 20 December to 2 January (inclusive) for each year.
2. If available, please provide a breakdown by region and by day within those periods.
