Request
I would like to know if National Highways Limited has done any estimates on the impact of a potential legal challenge on project costs for the Lower Thames Crossing?
If these estimates have been done, please can you include as much detail as possible, and at the minimum the estimates for how much a legal challenge to the Lower Thames Crossing's hypothetical Development Consent Order would cost to contest and how much the total project cost would increase by in such a situation? If there are any reasons that would prevent disclosure of all of the required information, please provide advice and assistance under s.16 to allow me to refine my request.
Response
I can confirm that under section 1(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, National Highways does not hold the information that you requested.
Advice and Assistance
National Highways has not carried out an estimation process to assess the impact of a potential legal challenge on project costs.
