I am writing to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000:
1. When the organisation last ran a procurement or tender process for language services, including (but not limited to) translation, interpretation, or transcription services.
2. The evaluation weighting used in that tender, specifically the percentage weighting allocated to quality and the percentage weighting allocated to price (e.g., 70% quality / 30% price).
3. The quality and price scores awarded to each bidder in that tender, including:
* The name of each bidder
* The quality score for each bidder.
* The price score for each bidder.
* The total score for each bidder
Response
National Highways has used several interpretation and translation services over the last three years. Provided in the attached, Appendix 1, is a summary of the contract, the type of service, contract value and procurement route used.
As these are direct awards for low value the procurements, the assessment process for these e.g. quality questions, commercial assessments, total quality score etc. are not applicable. Therefore, under Section 1(1)(a) we can confirm that this information is not held and the only information held in the scope of your request is provided in the attached table.
