1. What is the length of the lease that the Highways Agency have for premises they rent at the Cube building in Birmingham

2. and when does that lease come to an end

3. and are the Highways Agency proposing to move when that lease comes to an end

4. and if so where are they intending to move to or are actually going to move to.

Response

  1. Floors 9-11 are on a 15-year lease. Level 8 C&D is on 10-year lease and Level 8 A&B is on a 9-year lease.

  2. 24 March 2025.

  3. All three leases are within the protection of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954. At the determination of our lease we will be relocating. 4. National Highways have signed a new lease at 3 Snow Hill.
