I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information: * Up to 4 October 2024, how much has National Highways paid to contractors working on its three main Lower Thames Crossing construction contracts (Kent roads, tunnels, north roads)

I can confirm that we hold the information you have requested.

The payments made to date cover the Lower Thames Crossing Delivery Partners’ mobilisation and pre-construction work and surveys, including the detailed design and engineering work to de-risk the delivery programme, reduce embedded carbon, reduce the impact of construction, and maximise opportunities for the local community and supply chain.

The table below includes certified payments made up to the end of September 2024. Please note the values do not include VAT.
