I would like to request the following information in relation to the Lower Thames Crossing:
- Payment amount for acquiring the land of The Whitecroft care home - Stanford Rd, Grays RM16 3JL (payment to Runwood Home Group/Kathryn Homes LTD/Runwood Home LITD)
- Expected timeframe for requiring use of the land at The Whitecroft Care Home - Stanford Rd, Grays RM16 3JL

We are deeply sorry for the worry and disruption the closure of the Whitecroft will have on residents, their families, and staff. We have been working with Runwood Homes for many years to find a way to keep the care home open, but the noise and vibration from building the road means it cannot continue to operate in its current location.
We have therefore agreed to buy the property. We plan to start our works near to The Whitecroft in early 2027 to provide as much notice as possible.

National Highways has not yet purchased the site, therefore we do not hold this information.
Expected timeframe for requiring use of the land at The Whitecroft Care Home - Stanford Rd, Grays RM16 3JL
National Highways has now agreed to acquire the site under a voluntary agreement and has delayed its construction plans for the Lower Thames Crossing in that area to give as much time as possible for Runwood Homes to consult with its residents, their families, and its staff. The timing will be agreed with Runwood Homes, but will not be before early 2027.
